Comparing Baide HOME Fire Tables
Heat output power
The Baide HOME 28-Inch Round Fire Table delivers a robust 58,000 BTU heat output. This higher output means you get more immediate warmth for smaller spaces or colder evenings. In contrast, the Baide HOME 48-Inch Convertible Fire Table provides 50,000 BTU. While still powerful, it offers slightly less raw thermal energy than the smaller model. You should consider your specific heating needs. If maximum heat is your priority, the 28-inch model has the edge. However, the 48-inch model still provides ample warmth for larger gatherings around its bigger footprint.
Table size and footprint
Size is a major differentiator between these two units. The Baide HOME 28-Inch Round Fire Table measures 28 inches in width and 28 inches in length. Its compact round design fits well on balconies or smaller patios. The Baide HOME 48-Inch Convertible Fire Table is significantly larger, with a 48-inch width and 24-inch length. This larger surface area allows you to place more items on the table or accommodate more people around it. If you have a spacious backyard, the 48-inch model offers more utility. For tighter spaces, the 28-inch model is the practical choice.
Fuel flexibility
Fuel options vary between the two models. The Baide HOME 28-Inch Round Fire Table runs exclusively on propane. You connect a standard 20 lb tank externally via the included 10-foot hose. The Baide HOME 48-Inch Convertible Fire Table is versatile. It comes with a natural gas conversion kit, allowing you to switch from propane to natural gas. This feature is useful if you have a permanent gas line. If you want the option to use natural gas, the 48-inch model is superior. If you only use propane, both work equally well.
Table height and ergonomics
The height of the table affects comfort during use. The Baide HOME 28-Inch Round Fire Table stands at 14 inches tall. This lower profile is suitable for floor cushions or low seating. The Baide HOME 48-Inch Convertible Fire Table is 18 inches high. This height is lower than a standard dining table but higher than the 28-inch model, making it comfortable for use with outdoor sofas or lounge chairs. The 48-inch model offers a more traditional table height for placing drinks or coffee. Choose the height that best matches your existing outdoor furniture arrangement.
Included accessories and covers
Both models include essential accessories for operation and protection. The Baide HOME 28-Inch Round Fire Table includes a metal lid, a protective tank cover, and lava rocks. The tank cover is black or carbon gray. The Baide HOME 48-Inch Convertible Fire Table includes a burner lid, a protective cover, lava rocks, and a wind glass shield.
