Baide HOME vs OutVue Specs
Heat Output
The OutVue model provides 50,000 BTU of heat, while the Baide HOME unit offers 40,000 BTU. Higher BTU ratings generally mean faster warming of the surrounding area. If you need to heat a larger patio space quickly, the OutVue burner delivers more power. The Baide HOME fire pit is still effective for smaller tabletop setups or intimate gatherings. You should choose the higher output if cold weather is a primary concern. The lower output on the Baide HOME unit may suffice for mild evenings. This difference is significant for your heating needs.
Tabletop vs Table Design
The Baide HOME product is a tabletop fire pit designed to sit on top of existing furniture. It measures 28 inches in length and fits best on tables 30 to 32 inches long. The OutVue unit is a standalone fire table with a height of 24.5 inches. It functions as both a heater and a dining surface. The OutVue includes a metal lid that converts it into a coffee table when the fire is off. The Baide HOME requires a separate table for support. Your choice depends on whether you want a portable insert or a complete furniture piece.
Included Fire Media
The Baide HOME fire pit comes with decorative glass rocks. These create a specific visual effect and may require different maintenance than natural stones. The OutVue model includes 4.2 pounds of lava rocks. Lava rocks are traditional for propane fire pits and provide a rugged, natural look. Glass rocks often reflect light differently than lava stones. You might prefer the sleek appearance of glass or the earthy tone of lava rocks. This is a matter of aesthetic preference rather than performance. Both media types help distribute heat and protect the burner.
Construction Material
The Baide HOME unit is built from powder-coated steel. This finish helps resist rust and wear in outdoor conditions. The OutVue table uses iron with rust-proof paint and a 304 stainless steel burner. Stainless steel burners are often more durable against high heat and corrosion. The iron body of the OutVue is sturdy but relies on the paint for protection. The steel construction of the Baide HOME is also reliable for tabletop use. Both materials are suitable for outdoor environments. The stainless steel burner in the OutVue may offer longer longevity for the heating component.
Included Accessories
The Baide HOME package includes a wind glass shield and a rain cover. The wind shield helps maintain flame stability in breezy conditions. The rain cover protects the unit when not in use. The OutVue includes a metal fire plate lid and two drink holders. The lid allows the table to double as a surface for dining or drinks. The drink holders add convenience for guests. The Baide HOME lacks a lid, so it remains a fire pit only. The OutVue accessories provide more versatility for entertaining. Your choice depends on whether you value wind protection or multi-use functionality.
Choose Your Ideal Fire Table
You need a portable tabletop burner
The Baide HOME unit measures 28 inches long and sits at just 8.25 inches high. Its compact footprint fits easily on standard outdoor tables. You can place it on decks or patios without taking up much space. The rear-mounted hose regulator allows for flexible placement. This design keeps the heat source low and manageable for smaller gatherings.
You want a sturdy dining table
The OutVue model doubles as a 32 by 24 inch dining surface when the lid is closed. It stands 24.5 inches tall, providing standard table height. Two integrated drink holders keep your beverages secure. The iron construction with rust-proof paint offers durability. You get a functional piece of furniture that converts from a fire pit to a table.
You prefer higher heat output
OutVue delivers 50,000 BTU of heat output compared to Baide HOME's 40,000 BTU. This extra power warms a larger area more quickly. The 50,000 BTU burner is ideal for larger patios or colder evenings. You will feel the warmth spread faster across your seating arrangement. The higher output ensures comfort even when temperatures drop.
