How to choose your Ciays fire table
-
Check heat output needs
Match the BTU rating to your patio size. Most models here offer 50,000 BTUs, which suits small patios and compact seating areas. If you need more warmth for large outdoor spaces, choose the 43-inch option with 60,000 BTUs. This higher heat output ensures you stay comfortable in cooler weather. Verify the spec sheet for the exact number. Higher BTU means faster heating and wider coverage area for your guests.
-
Measure your space carefully
Dimensions determine if the unit fits your deck. The 28-inch models have a compact footprint ideal for tight corners. The 43-inch rectangular table requires more floor space but offers a larger surface area. Check the length and width specs before buying. Ensure you have enough clearance for safe operation. A smaller unit like the 28-inch square option works well for balconies or small gardens without overwhelming the area.
-
Consider table shape
Shape affects both aesthetics and seating arrangement. Rectangular tables like the 43-inch model provide a long surface for dining or serving. Square tables, such as the 28-inch RGB option, offer a balanced look for symmetrical seating. Choose based on your furniture layout. A square shape fits well in corners, while a rectangle aligns with standard patio sets. Select the shape that complements your existing outdoor decor and flow.
-
Look for cup holders
Built-in cup holders add convenience for guests. The 28-inch and 32-inch models include this feature, keeping drinks secure and within reach. This small detail enhances usability during gatherings. Check the product images or specs to confirm inclusion. It prevents spills and keeps hands free for conversation. If you host frequently, this feature is practical. It turns the fire table into a functional piece of furniture rather than just a heat source.
-
Evaluate weight and portability
Weight impacts how easy it is to move. The 28-inch steel model weighs only 20 pounds, making it simple to relocate. Heavier units, like the 62.8-pound 43-inch table, stay in place but require more effort to move. Consider if you need to store the unit indoors during winter. Lighter models are easier to handle for cleaning or seasonal storage. Check the weight spec to plan your moving strategy accordingly.
