Where FOOWIN Fits Your Needs

FOOWIN suits users who need reliable propane heat without complex electronics. All models deliver 48,000 BTU, but sizes vary. The Pyramid Propane Heater is compact at 20.4 inches wide and weighs 50.7 pounds, making it ideal for small patios. The Swivel Arm model is wider at 55.9 inches, offering drink storage. Two other models measure 30.4 inches wide. You will not find electric or infrared options here. There are no smart controls or remote features in this range. You choose based on width and mobility needs rather than advanced technology.

How to Choose the Right FOOWIN Heater

1. Match Size to Patio

Your patio dimensions dictate the right heater width. The Pyramid Propane model measures 20.4 inches wide, fitting small spaces. The Swivel Arm version is 55.9 inches wide, covering more ground. Check your available floor space before buying. A wider base provides stability but requires more room. Ensure you have clearance for the heater’s height, which ranges from 79.7 to 86.6 inches. Proper sizing ensures safe operation and effective heat distribution without overcrowding your outdoor area.

2. Check Mobility Needs

Wheels make moving heavy units easier. The Pyramid Propane and standard Propane models include wheels. This feature helps you reposition the heater as needed. Without wheels, you must lift the unit. The Pyramid Propane weighs 50.7 pounds. The standard Propane model is lighter at 40 pounds. If you move your heater often, choose a model with wheels. This saves effort and reduces the risk of injury. Verify that the wheels are sturdy enough for your patio surface type.

3. Consider Heat Direction

Some models allow you to adjust where the heat goes. The Swivel Arm Heater features a swivel arm. This lets you direct warmth toward specific seating areas. Other models have fixed heads. If you need flexible heating, the Swivel Arm is the better choice. Fixed heaters provide consistent, forward-facing heat. Decide if you want targeted warmth or general coverage. Adjustable arms add versatility for changing social setups. This feature is useful for diners or loungers who shift positions.

4. Review Base Stability

Stability prevents tipping in wind. The Swivel Arm Heater uses a sand-filled base. You must fill it with sand for stability. This adds significant weight when full. Other models rely on their structural design. The Pyramid Propane weighs 50.7 pounds empty. Heavier units are generally more stable. Check the weight specifications for each model. A heavier base reduces the chance of the heater tipping over. Ensure your patio surface can support the weight, especially when filled with sand or water.

5. Select Your Color

Color affects how the heater blends with your decor. Options include Bronze, Brown, and Black. The Pyramid Propane is Bronze. The Swivel Arm is Brown. The standard Propane models are Black. Choose a finish that matches your outdoor furniture. Bronze offers a classic look. Black provides a modern appearance. Brown is earthy and natural. Consider how the color holds up over time. Some finishes may show dirt more than others. Pick a color that complements your existing patio style for a cohesive look.
