Ciays vs Onlyfire: Key Differences
Heat Output
The Ciays 42-Inch Propane Fire Pit Table delivers a substantial 60,000 BTU. This high output is designed to warm larger outdoor spaces and keep food warm during gatherings. In contrast, the Onlyfire 14-Inch Tabletop Gas Fire Pit provides 5,400 BTU per hour. This lower output suits small tabletops or intimate settings rather than heating a large patio area. You will notice a significant difference in thermal power. If you need to heat a group of people around a large table, Ciays offers far more warmth. Onlyfire is better for ambient warmth on a small surface.
Physical Size
Ciays offers a large footprint with a 42-inch diameter and a weight of 65 pounds. Its dimensions are 43.3 inches in length and 24.4 inches in height. This makes it a substantial floor-standing piece that requires dedicated space. Onlyfire is much smaller, measuring 14 inches by 14 inches and standing only 8 inches tall. It weighs just 12 pounds. This compact size allows it to sit on existing tables without overwhelming the area. You can easily move Onlyfire, while Ciays stays fixed. Choose Ciays for a central patio anchor, and Onlyfire for flexible tabletop use.
Design Style
Ciays features a traditional table design with a steel lid and lava rocks in the center. The black finish and external fire level control contribute to a classic outdoor aesthetic. It includes a lid for protection when not in use. Onlyfire takes a modern approach with a polygon appearance and simplistic line design. It uses blue glass beads instead of lava rocks for a different visual effect. The steel frame has a protective enamel finish. Both are black, but Ciays feels more substantial and traditional, while Onlyfire looks sleek and contemporary. Your patio style will guide this choice.
Mounting Type
Placement is a major differentiator between these two brands. Ciays is a floor-standing unit designed to be a standalone table. It does not sit on other furniture. Onlyfire is explicitly designed as a tabletop insert. It measures 14 by 14 inches, fitting into standard umbrella holes on tables. The bottom-mounted propane connection hides the tank beneath the table. You must have a compatible table to use Onlyfire. Ciays works independently on any flat surface. If you lack a suitable table, Ciays is the only viable option. If you have a table, Onlyfire adds warmth without changing the setup.
Included Accessories
Ciays comes with a steel lid and lava rocks. The lid helps protect the internal components from weather when the fire is off. The lava rocks create a specific volcanic look for the flame. Onlyfire includes blue glass beads to enhance the flame appearance. It does not list a lid or cover in its included accessories. You may need to source a cover separately for Onlyfire. The steel lid on Ciays adds value for maintenance and protection. For Onlyfire, the included beads provide immediate visual appeal. Consider whether you want built-in protection or just decorative elements.
