Garvee Pyramid Pro vs 42 BTU
Heat output
The Garvee 42,000 BTU model delivers a rated 42,000 BTU of heat output. This specification gives you a clear baseline for its warming power. The Garvee Pyramid Pro does not list a specific BTU rating in its published data. Without that number, you cannot directly compare the thermal energy each unit produces. You must rely on the stated output of the 42 model to gauge intensity. The Pyramid Pro relies on its 89.4-inch height and glass tube design to spread warmth. However, the lack of a BTU figure makes the 42 model the stronger choice for predictable heating performance.
Build material
The Garvee 42,000 BTU heater features a stainless steel frame. Stainless steel offers superior resistance to rust and corrosion compared to standard steel. This material choice is ideal for long-term outdoor exposure. The Garvee Pyramid Pro is described as silver but does not specify stainless steel in its attributes. It includes a protective cover, which helps shield the finish. However, the base material of the 42 model is explicitly stated as stainless steel. This gives it a clear advantage in durability against weather elements over time.
Tank storage
The Garvee 42,000 BTU model includes a concealed lower cabinet for a standard 20 lb propane cylinder. This design keeps the tank hidden behind decorative side panels, maintaining a clean look. It also features a hinged access door for easy replacement. The Garvee Pyramid Pro does not mention internal tank storage in its data. It likely uses an external tank setup, which is less streamlined. The integrated storage of the 42 model offers better aesthetics and organization for your patio space.
Included accessories
The Garvee Pyramid Pro comes with a waterproof cover included in the package. This cover protects the unit from rain, dust, and debris when not in use. You do not need to purchase this separately. The Garvee 42,000 BTU model does not list a cover in its features or specifications. It does include ground fixtures and a side table for convenience. However, the lack of a protective cover means you must source one separately for the 42 model. The Pyramid Pro provides more immediate protection for your investment.
Mobility features
Both units include wheels for easier repositioning around your patio. The Garvee 42,000 BTU model adds a side table for placing drinks or small items. This feature adds utility when you are moving the heater or using it. The Garvee Pyramid Pro focuses on mobility through its wheels and includes a protective cover instead. It does not mention a side table. The 42 model offers more functional accessories for daily use, combining mobility with convenient surface space.
