Comparing Alternatives to HGD
OutVue 27-Inch Stainless Steel Smokeless Fire Pit
The OutVue 27-Inch Stainless Steel Smokeless Fire Pit offers a slightly smaller 27-inch diameter compared to the HGD’s 28-inch bowl. It weighs 47.5 pounds, which is significantly heavier than the HGD’s 29.8 pounds. This added mass provides greater stability for large outdoor gatherings but reduces portability. It includes a protective cover, whereas the HGD includes a grill grate and stand base. Choose this model if you prioritize a durable, stationary setup for group events over the cooking versatility and lighter weight of the HGD.
East Oak Fuoco 21-Inch Smokeless Fire Pit
The East Oak Fuoco 21-Inch Smokeless Fire Pit is much smaller, with a 21.3-inch width and 15-inch height. It weighs only 10.8 pounds, making it far easier to transport than the 29.8-pound HGD. This compact size suits small patios or camping trips where space and weight are critical. It lacks the included stand and grill grate found with the HGD. Select this option if you need a lightweight, portable fire pit for occasional use rather than a dedicated, stable cooking and heating station for your backyard.
Aoxun 36-Inch Steel Fire Pit with Wood Storage
The Aoxun 36-Inch Steel Fire Pit features a unique 32x18-inch footprint and built-in wood storage. It is 12.6 inches tall, lower than the HGD’s 17.5-inch profile. Weighing 37.3 pounds, it is heavier and less portable. This design prioritizes organization and stability for deck owners who need to store firewood nearby. It does not include a grill grate or smokeless technology in the same way. Pick this model if you value integrated storage and a sturdy deck presence over the compact, dual-function cooking capabilities of the HGD.
Sunjoy 28-Inch Hexagonal Smokeless Fire Pit
The Sunjoy 28-Inch Hexagonal Smokeless Fire Pit matches the HGD’s 28-inch size but weighs only 21.6 pounds. It features a black finish and includes a protective cover. The HGD offers a silver finish with a grill grate and stand. The Sunjoy model is lighter and easier to move, making it suitable for those who want a modern aesthetic without the extra weight. Choose this alternative if you prefer a sleek black look and easy maintenance over the HGD’s included cooking accessories and stable base.
KamerOut 20-Inch Smokeless Stainless Fire Pit
The KamerOut 20-Inch Smokeless Stainless Fire Pit is smaller, with a 20-inch width and 15.4-inch height. It weighs 30 pounds, similar to the HGD but with a different footprint. It includes a cooking grate, offering similar versatility to the HGD. However, it lacks the included stand base, which affects stability. This model fits buyers who want a portable cooking option for small groups or camping. Select it if you prioritize a compact, grill-ready design over the HGD’s larger, stand-supported structure for permanent patio use.
Campior 18-Inch Stainless Steel Smokeless Fire Pit
The Campior 18-Inch Stainless Steel Smokeless Fire Pit is the most compact option, measuring 17.7 inches wide and 11.8 inches tall. It weighs 27 pounds, which is lighter than the HGD’s 29.8 pounds. This small size is ideal for campers and tight spaces. It lacks the grill grate and stand included with the HGD. Choose this model if you need a highly portable fire pit for travel or small patios. It sacrifices the large cooking surface and stable base of the HGD for maximum ease of transport.
