ReeQuo vs COSIEST Key Specs
Heat Output
The ReeQuo model delivers 50,000 BTU of heat, while the COSIEST unit provides 40,000 BTU. This difference means the ReeQuo can warm a slightly larger area more effectively. If you live in a colder climate or have a spacious patio, the higher output from ReeQuo offers more comfort. The COSIEST output is sufficient for smaller spaces but may struggle to maintain warmth in wider areas. You should choose based on your local weather and the size of your gathering space.
Table Dimensions
Size matters when choosing a fire table. The ReeQuo features a 31.5-inch diameter round top, offering ample surface area for drinks and snacks. In contrast, the COSIEST has a compact 20-inch square base. The smaller footprint of the COSIEST makes it ideal for tight balconies or small decks where space is limited. The larger ReeQuo table serves as a more substantial centerpiece. You need to measure your available patio space carefully to ensure the chosen model fits without overcrowding the area.
Tank Placement
Both units hide the propane tank, but they do so differently. The ReeQuo uses an external tank cover table, which doubles as a side table for the 20lb tank. This keeps the tank visible but concealed within a functional accessory. The COSIEST conceals the tank inside its pedestal base, creating a cleaner, more integrated look. The internal placement of the COSIEST might appeal to those who prefer a seamless aesthetic, while the external cover of the ReeQuo offers easier access for tank changes.
Construction Material
Build materials affect durability and heat retention. The ReeQuo bowl is hand cast from Terra fab, a composite of mineral powder and glass fiber, which provides excellent heat insulation and antifreezing properties. It claims better fire resistance than magnesium oxide. The COSIEST uses a sturdy magnesium oxide frame with a stainless steel burner bowl. Both materials are designed to withstand outdoor conditions. The ReeQuo material may offer superior resistance to aging and freezing temperatures compared to the magnesium oxide construction of the COSIEST.
Weight and Portability
Portability is a key factor for many buyers. The ReeQuo weighs 77 pounds and includes convenient side handles for easy moving. The COSIEST is lighter at 70 pounds when the tank is removed. The lower weight of the COSIEST makes it easier to shift around a patio or store during harsh weather. However, the ReeQuo includes side handles specifically designed to assist with lifting. If you move your fire table frequently, the lighter COSIEST might be the more practical choice for your needs.
Which Fire Table Suits Your Needs
You want maximum heat for larger gatherings
The ReeQuo model delivers 50,000 BTU of heat output. This higher rating allows it to warm a larger patio area more effectively than the COSIEST unit. If you host frequent outdoor dinners or live in a cooler climate, the extra thermal power ensures you stay comfortable throughout the evening.
You need a compact table for small decks
The COSIEST table features a 20-inch square footprint and stands 29 inches tall. Its compact design fits neatly into intimate spaces or small balconies where larger units would overwhelm the area. The concealed propane tank storage inside the base also helps it blend seamlessly into tighter outdoor layouts.
You prefer a low-profile table near seating
The ReeQuo unit sits at just 14.5 inches high. This low profile makes it easy to reach across for drinks or conversation while seated on nearby chairs or sofas. The external tank cover table provides additional side space without raising the overall height of the main fire bowl surface.
You want a rustic stone aesthetic
The COSIEST design features a faux brown stacked ledge stone base and a rose-marble bowl. This visual style adds a rustic, natural texture to your patio decor. If you prefer a traditional stone look over the modern concrete finish of the ReeQuo, this unit offers a distinct decorative appeal.
