VEVOR Heater Key Specs Explained

Heat Output: 50,000 BTU

This rating indicates the energy released by the burner each hour. Higher BTU numbers generally mean faster heating and a larger warm zone. This output supports coverage up to an 18-foot diameter. You benefit from this when hosting groups of six to eight people. Compare this against lower-output models if you need to heat a small balcony or private nook instead of a large patio.

Construction Material: 304 stainless steel

This grade of steel resists rust and corrosion better than standard metals. It withstands rain, snow, and humidity without warping. This durability extends the lifespan of the unit in outdoor environments. You benefit from reduced maintenance and long-term reliability. When shopping, compare this to cheaper materials that may degrade quickly in harsh weather conditions.

Height: 87.4 inches

This tall profile places the heat source higher above ground level. It allows warmth to spread evenly across a wider area. The height also keeps the flame out of direct reach. You benefit from better comfort for standing or seated guests. Compare this to shorter units that may concentrate heat too low for comfortable outdoor dining.

Ignition Type: Push-button ignition

This feature allows you to start the heater without a lighter or matches. It provides a quick and consistent flame. You benefit from convenience and safety during use. This method is easier than manual lighting. When comparing, note that some units require pilot lights or external ignition sources, which can be less convenient.

Heating Element: Glass flame tube

This component creates a visible, campfire-like ambiance while radiating heat. The glass protects the flame and distributes warmth. You benefit from a cozy aesthetic for evening gatherings. It adds visual appeal to your patio. Compare this to open burner designs that lack this decorative element and may feel less inviting.

Design and build details

The unit is constructed from double-layer 304 stainless steel. This material choice helps resist warping and corrosion from rain or snow. The listing states the finish is a hammered bronze. This aesthetic complements outdoor furniture while providing a protective layer against the elements. You get a round table design that measures 32.01 inches wide and deep. The total height reaches 87.4 inches. This tall profile places the heat source well above head level for seated guests.

Weighing 32.2 pounds, the heater is light enough to move but stable enough for permanent placement. It includes two wheels for easy mobility across patios or courtyards. The control layout features a push-button ignition for straightforward start-up. An adjustable heat control lets you manage the warmth level. A tilt auto-shutoff sensor adds a layer of safety during use.

According to the listing, the burner uses a glass flame tube. This creates a visual effect similar to a campfire. The combination of durable materials and thoughtful controls makes this unit suitable for backyard gatherings. The round shape and table format allow people to sit around it comfortably. You can move it as needed thanks to the integrated wheels.

Setup and everyday use

Setup begins with assembling the provided accessories. The listing notes that instructions are straightforward, allowing for quick installation even if you have limited experience. The unit weighs 32.2 pounds, which is manageable for a single person. Once assembled, you can move it using the two integrated wheels. This mobility feature lets you reposition the heater easily across patios or courtyards without lifting the entire 87.4-inch structure.

Daily operation starts with the push-button ignition. You do not need external lighters or matches. This ignition system simplifies the start-up process. Once lit, the glass flame tube creates a visual effect similar to a campfire. You can adjust the warmth level using the adjustable heat control. This allows you to tailor the output to your comfort needs rather than running it at full capacity constantly.

The heater runs on propane. The listing states it operates continuously for 8 to 10 hours on a single tank. This runtime supports extended evening gatherings. The 50,000 BTU output spreads heat across an 18-foot diameter. This coverage is sufficient for groups of 6 to 8 people. Safety is managed by a tilt auto-shutoff sensor. If the unit tips, it shuts off automatically. This feature adds a layer of protection during everyday use. The double-layer 304 stainless steel construction ensures the unit withstands rain and snow, requiring minimal maintenance between uses.

Check Propane Compatibility And Space

Before you buy, check your propane tank compatibility. This unit uses standard propane cylinders, but you must supply the tank yourself. Ensure your tank fits the regulator connection. You will also need to verify your outdoor space can accommodate the 87.4-inch height and 32-inch base width. The heater weighs 32.2 pounds, so it is manageable to move with its wheels, but you should still plan a stable, level surface to prevent tipping. Since it lacks an automatic timer, you must manually turn it off. Regularly inspect the stainless steel for scratches to maintain its corrosion resistance. This model suits larger patios needing strong heat, while smaller decks might prefer a lower BTU option. Always keep the push-button ignition area clean for reliable starts. Consider the glass flame tube’s fragility during cleaning. It fits well with other table-style heaters if you prioritize durability over smart features.

Check before you buy

• Verify your propane tank fits the regulator connection.
• Ensure your patio can hold the 32-inch base.
• Confirm the 87-inch height fits your ceiling clearance.
• Plan for manual shut-off since no timer exists.
