Endless Summer 45" Wood Burning Steel Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How these alternatives compare

HGD 28-Inch Smokeless Wood Fire Pit

The HGD 28-Inch Smokeless Wood Fire Pit is much shorter at 17.5 inches tall compared to the Endless Summer 45-inch height. It weighs only 29.8 pounds, making it significantly lighter and easier to move than the 65.9-pound steel unit. This model features a smokeless design and includes a cooking grate, adding versatility for grilling. You lose the tall, classic fireplace aesthetic and the large firebox capacity. However, you gain a compact footprint suitable for smaller patios and the ability to cook over the flames. Choose this if you prioritize dual functionality and portability over raw heat output and traditional styling.

Sunjoy 28-Inch Hexagonal Smokeless Fire Pit

The Sunjoy 28-Inch Hexagonal Smokeless Fire Pit is a compact option at 15 inches high and 21.6 pounds. It is far shorter and lighter than the Endless Summer 45-inch model, which stands 45 inches tall and weighs 65.9 pounds. This unit uses a smokeless design and comes with a protective cover, enhancing convenience for storage. It sacrifices the imposing vertical presence and large burning space of the Endless Summer unit. The hexagonal shape and smaller dimensions make it ideal for tight spaces or camping trips. Select this alternative if you need a lightweight, easy-to-store fire pit with reduced smoke rather than a permanent, heavy-duty focal point.

Ciays 42-Inch Propane Fire Pit Table

The Ciays 42-Inch Propane Fire Pit Table switches from wood to propane fuel. It delivers 60,000 BTU of heat, offering consistent warmth without the mess of wood ash or the need to manage logs. The table design includes lava rocks and a lid, providing serving space that the open firebox lacks. It is shorter at 24.4 inches high but wider at 43.3 inches long. You give up the authentic crackling sound and visual of a wood fire. This option is best for those who want high heat output and convenience without the maintenance of a wood-burning system. Pick this if you host large groups and prefer clean, instant heat.

Sunnydaze 36-Inch Crossweave Wood Fire Pit

The Sunnydaze 36-Inch Crossweave Wood Fire Pit is a round, portable unit that stands 24 inches tall and weighs 23.8 pounds. It is significantly shorter and lighter than the Endless Summer 45-inch model, which is 45 inches high and weighs 65.9 pounds. This fire pit offers a classic round design suitable for open patios. It lacks the tall, chimney-like structure and the heavy steel construction of the Endless Summer unit. The smaller footprint makes it easier to move and store. Choose this alternative if you want a traditional wood-burning experience with greater portability and a lower profile. It is ideal for users who value flexibility over a permanent, statement-piece installation.

Sunnydaze Cosmic 42" Steel Fire Pit

The Sunnydaze Cosmic 42-Inch Steel Fire Pit features a large bowl design with a 31-inch interior diameter. It stands 23.5 inches high and weighs 23 pounds, making it much shorter and lighter than the Endless Summer 45-inch unit. The wide bowl accommodates larger logs and more fuel, enhancing heat distribution for group gatherings. It sacrifices the tall, vertical aesthetic and the heavy-duty steel build of the Endless Summer model. The decorative ring adds visual interest but reduces the overall height. This option is best for those who prioritize log capacity and group seating over a tall, fireplace-style design. Pick this if you want a spacious fire pit for large outdoor events.

Cuisinart 19.5-Inch Cleanburn Smokeless Fire Pit

The Cuisinart 19.5-Inch Cleanburn Smokeless Fire Pit is a compact, lightweight unit at 14.7 inches high and 15.9 pounds. It is much smaller and lighter than the Endless Summer 45-inch model, which is 45 inches tall and weighs 65.9 pounds. This fire pit uses a smokeless design to reduce emissions and comes with a compact footprint ideal for small spaces. It lacks the large firebox and tall structure of the Endless Summer unit. The portable size makes it easy to move for camping or small patio use. Choose this alternative if you prioritize ease of cleanup and portability over raw heat output and a permanent, heavy-duty installation. It is best for users with limited space.
